Application Guide lines for Double Sided Tapes.
- Make sure surfaces are clean and free from dust and grease use HEXCHEM13.
- If low surface energy a primer may be needed use H3505P.
- Apply tape to one surface evenly and apply pressure at room temperature (ACXplus products need a min of 28N)
- Apply second substrate again making sure a constant even pressure is applied.
- Bond strength will be highest after 72 hours.
All adhesive tapes are pressure sensitive therefore need heat and pressure to activate , primers will increase bond strength by 20% + but need time to flash off before applying tape, they increase the surface energy as opposed to cleaners which only degrease the surface.
